I have raised my family in Eastvale for the last 13 years and have watched the city grow and achieve city incorporation ten years ago. I am married with four children, and believe Eastvale is a great place to raise a family. I am a committed volunteer and have been coaching baseball, soccer, tackle football, and flag football teams over the last 12 years. I have coached approximately 50 teams during that time, and have met a lot of great families in our community. I have been the President of Eastvale Little League for the last 7 years, and I am proud to lead a 30 member Board of Directors who are committed to teamwork and service.
As a Lieutenant at Riverside Police Department I have served as a Watch Commander in Patrol, Aviation, SWAT, Parole and Corrections Team, Hostage Negotiations Team, and a UAV program. I have previously worked as a sergeant and a detective in investigations, narcotics, auto theft, property crimes, SWAT, major investigations, community services, and as a press information officer. Leadership is a learned skill, and I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Public Administration from California Baptist University.
I am currently the chair of Eastvale’s Public Safety Commission which I have served for the last 3 years. The PSC serves as an advisement Commission to the City Council on matters related to public safety. I am proud to live and serve in Eastvale which is one of southern California’s safest cities.
